normal. High temperatures averaged from 536 in the West to 690 in the East. Departure from
normal high temperatures ranged from +464 degrees from normal in the West to +624 degrees
from normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 525 degrees in the West to 682
degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from +478 degrees from
normal in the West to +636 degrees from normal in the East.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 131.22 inches statewide which was +128.27 inches from
normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 106.26 inches, Central 132.25 inches, Bluegrass
106.33 inches and East 163.54 inches, which was +103.04, +129.19, +103.51 and +160.83 inches respectively from
normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 1.46 inches at Glasgow to a high of
209.79 inches at Bardstown.
