Temperatures for the period averaged 60 degrees across the state which was 1 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 70 in the West to 69 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 3 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 2 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 51 degrees in the West to 49 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 131 at SOMERSET AWOS and the extreme low was -6 at HENDERSON 5E.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 27.52 inches statewide which was 1.49 inches above normal and 106% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 26.54 inches, Central 28.15 inches, Bluegrass 26.87 inches and East 28.52 inches, which was -0.69, 1.25, 2.45 and 2.96 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 19.16 inches at FORT KNOX to a high of 34.79 inches at ALBANY 1N.
