Temperatures for the period averaged 64 degrees across the state which was 1 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 77 in the West to 65 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 10 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 58 degrees in the West to 48 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 5 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 89 at WHITESBURG 2NW and the extreme low was 0 at HAZARD AWOS.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 4.14 inches statewide which was 1.45 inches above normal and 154% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 5.09 inches, Central 4.66 inches, Bluegrass 3.41 inches and East 3.40 inches, which was 2.23, 1.84, 0.9 and 0.83 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 1.77 inches at RICHMOND 8E to a high of 9.00 inches at HENDERSON 5E.
