Temperatures for the period averaged 58.5 degrees across the state which was 0.8 degrees cooler than normal . High temperatures averaged from 69.8 in the West to 68.9 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 2.5 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 1.9 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 54.8 degrees in the West to 46.7 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4.8 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1.3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 110.1 at Breathitt county and the extreme low was -8.0 at Pike county.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 27.62 inches statewide which was 1.61 inches above normal and 106.2% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 27.76 inches, Central 28.58 inches, Bluegrass 26.83 inches and East 27.30 inches, which was 0.53, 1.67, 2.44 and 1.77 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 21.98 inches at Johnson county to a high of 34.77 inches at Clinton county. Dewpoint temperatures for the state averaged near 49.7 degrees.
