Temperatures for the period averaged 74.5 degrees across the state which was 0.1 degrees cooler than normal . High temperatures averaged from 85.6 in the West to 82.9 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1.9 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 2.2 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 73.6 degrees in the West to 63.2 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 8.2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 2.2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 95.5 at Union county and the extreme low was 44.2 at Bath county.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 10.24 inches statewide which was 1.63 inches above normal and 119.0% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 9.95 inches, Central 9.47 inches, Bluegrass 11.49 inches and East 10.05 inches, which was 1.56, 0.82, 2.95 and 1.21 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 5.14 inches at Hart county to a high of 15.40 inches at Lewis county. Dewpoint temperatures for the state averaged near 67.8 degrees.
